Aamir Khan (Hindi: आमिर ख़ान, pronounced [ˈaːmɪr ˈxaːn]); born Aamir Hussain Khan on 14 March 1965 is an Indian film actor, director and producer who has established himself as one of the leading actors of Hindi cinema

Starting his career as a child actor in his uncle Nasir Hussain's film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), Khan began his professional career eleven years later with Holi (1984) and had his first commercial success with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988). He received his first National Film Award (Special Jury Award) for his roles in the films Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988) and Raakh (1989) After eight previous nominations during the 1980s and 1990s, Khan received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in the major grosser Raja Hindustani (1996)and later earned his second Best Actor award for his performance in the Academy Award-nominated Lagaan, which also marked the debut of his own production company.

Following a four-year break from acting, Khan made his comeback playing the title role in the historical Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005), and later won a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his role in Rang De Basanti (2006). The following year, he made his directorial debut with Taare Zameen Par, for which he received a Filmfare Award for Best Director. This was followed by Ghajini (2008), which became the highest grossing film of that year, and 3 Idiots (2009), which became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all-time, unadjusted for inflation The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010 for his contributions towards the arts

Khan was born in Bandra's Holy Family Hospital, Mumbai, India, to a Muslim family that has been actively involved in the Indian motion picture industry for several decades. His father, Tahir Hussain, was a film producer while his uncle, Nasir Hussain, was a film producer as well as a director and an actor. His family on his father´s side are originally from Herat, Afghanistan

He is a descendant of the scholar and politician Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and a second cousin to former Chairperson of Rajya Sabha Dr Najma Heptulla

Khan began his film career as a child actor in a home production, made by Nasir Hussain, titled Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973) and Madhosh (1974). Eleven years later, he made his adult acting debut in a role that went quite unnoticed in Ketan Mehta's Holi (1984).

Kajal Aggarwal (Hindi: काजल अगरवाल; born on 19 June 1985) is an Indian film actresswho predominantly appears in Telugu films. She has also appeared in Tamil and Hindi films.

Kajal made her film debut in the 2004 Hindi film Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na and entered the Telugu film industry through the film Lakshmi Kalyanam (2007). She had her first commercial success with Chandamama (2007) and rose to prominence after her performance in Magadheera (2009), which remains her biggest commercial successand fetched her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress. She was born in Mumbai, India to Suman Agarwal and Vinay Agarwal. She has a sister named Nisha Aggarwal, who is appearing in Telugu films as well. She finished her studies in Mumbai and started her modeling career while she was in college.

Kajal made her acting debut in the 2004 Hindi film Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na, in which she enacted minor supporting role as the friend of Diya, the film’s lead, played by Aishwarya Raifollowing which she signed veteran Tamil director Bharathiraja's Bommalattam. The film, however, got delayed and released in late 2008.

She made her debut in the Telugu film industry and played her first leading role in 2007 in Teja's Lakshmi Kalyanam alongside Kalyan Ram, which did not fare well at the box office. Later that year, she appeared in the Krishna Vamsi-directed film Chandamama, which opened to positive reviews and became her first major successful filmIn 2008, she had her first Tamil film release, Perarasu's action entertainer Pazhani, co-starring Bharath. Following this film, she had two more Tamil releases that year with Venkat Prabhu’s comedy-thriller Saroja, in which she did a guest appearance, and Bharathiraja’s investigative thriller Bommalattam. Although the former went on to become a commercial as well as a critical success both films failed to boost her career as her roles were too insignificantBoth her Telugu releases, Pourudu and Aatadista opposite Sumanth and Nitin, respectively, neither received positive reviews nor were successul at the box office.

Sharman Joshi (Hindi: शर्मन जोशी, Gujarati: શર્મન જોશી) is an Indian film and theater actor. He has worked on various stage productions in English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati languages. However, he is mostly known for his work in Hindi films.

Joshi belongs to a Gujarati family of actors and performing artists. His father, sister and cousins acted in Gujarati theater. His sister, Mansi Joshi has appeared in many television serials. Joshi is married to Prerna Chopra, daughter of actor Prem Chopra. The couple have a daughter, Khyana, born in October 2005, and twin boys, Rehan and Varryan, born in July 2009


He made his film debut in the 1999 art film, Godmother

This was followed by Style (2001), produced by N Chandra. Style was followed with a sequel called Xcuse Me (2003), and other comedies like Shaadi No. 1 (2005).

In 2006 he starred in Rang De Basanti. Later that year he starred in the comedy film Golmaal. In 2007 he appeared in the films Life in a Metro, Dhol and Raqeeb. The following year saw him as the character Shyam in Hello, the film adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel One Night @ the Call Center. Joshi also played the male lead in the film Sorry Bhai! in 2008 and one of the three characters in the 2009 film, 3 Idiots, which was based on Chetan Bhagat's novel Five Point Someone.

In year 2009 he also host a TV game show at Real TV called PokerFace: Dil Sachcha Chehra Jhootha, which was based on a British TV game show called PokerFace (game show).
